Introduction
The New England Ford Dealer Advertising Fund wants you to be familiar with how it collects, uses and discloses any information it gathers about you in its automobile service marketing, including any information collected on this microsite (“Microsite”).  
We refer to this as a “specific” privacy policy because, as we explain below in more detail, it only covers the advertising and marketing we do related to having your Ford and Lincoln vehicles serviced by Ford and Lincoln dealers in the New England Ford Dealer Advertising Fund.  
Please read this Specific Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Microsite. By accessing and using this Microsite, you agree to allow us to collect, use and disclose information according to this Specific Privacy Policy. 
This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the Microsite after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

Children Under the Age of 16
Our Microsite is not intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 may provide any personal information to or on the Microsite. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information on this Microsite or through any of its features or links or provide any information about yourself to us. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. 
The Information We Collect (and Do Not Collect) 
We collect non-personalized, aggregated information about people who may need to have their Ford or Lincoln vehicle serviced by our members. We collect this information when people interact with our ads and visit this Microsite. The information we collect:
Does not include personal information, that is, information which can identify you individually, whether by name, postal address, telephone number, social security number, email address, or job title.
Is aggregated, which means that we handle the information in bulk. We do not process data or information at the level of the individual. Data may be aggregated by a sorting feature, such as all users who visited this site or all users who visited this site and took a specific action, but no individual user is singled out.
Does include information commonly gathered automatically by internet browsers, web servers and ad servers. Some examples of the types of information we collect include your IP address; browser and device information; demographic data that does not reveal your personal identity; geographical information, including where you were when you accessed this Microsite; how you navigate through this Microsite; and information pertaining to the particular piece of advertising that brought you to this Microsite, such as the identity of the ad that brought you here and when and where you saw it.  
How We Collect Information 
We collect information using standard marketing technologies, including:
Cookies. We use cookies on our Microsite. Cookies are small text files containing a string of characters. Your browser stores them on your computer or mobile device when you visit a site. Cookies allow a web server or ad server to identify your browser or device. This way web servers and ad servers can interact with your browser more intelligently because they recognize your browser and any settings store in it and any profile you might have based on your browsing history and other data. 
Web Beacons. Web beacons are small snippets of code known by several names, including pixels, tags, clear gifs, pixel tags, or single-pixel gifs. Our Microsite uses web beacons. Generally, we use them to track actions you take so we can understand the effectiveness of our advertising. Examples of actions we track are whether you download FordPass, click to call a dealer, obtain geolocation information on nearby dealers or click through to a dealer's website.  
You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access or use certain parts of our Microsite. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Microsite. 
Third-Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
Third parties may use cookies, web beacons and other technology to collect or receive information from the Microsite and they may use that information to provide measurement services and targeted ads. Below are some of the third parties we work with and information on how they gather and use data:  
Facebook and Instagram 
We use the marketing and re-marketing services of Facebook and Instagram. To do so, we place a tracking pixel from Facebook and Instagram on our Microsite, and we place a copy of it on your browser or device when you access the Microsite. These pixels allow us to track the actions of Facebook and Instagram users when they come to this site after clicking on one of our ads. This way we can measure the effectiveness of our ads. They also allow us to let Facebook and Instagram know which browsers and devices have visited our Microsite so we can serve ads to those browsers and devices on Facebook and Instagram at a later date. 
The information we collect remains anonymous and we cannot see the personal data of any individual user. However, Facebook and Instagram save and process the collected data, and they are able to connect that data with individual accounts and use the data for their advertising purposes. We use Google’s marketing and re-marketing services. These services allow us to display advertisements to individuals who might be interested in them. Re-marketing is a way to reconnect with people who previously visited our Microsite and to present them with an ad we believe might be of interest to them. These ads might appear as sponsored ads in search results pages or as ads on the websites of companies that partner with Google.  
To use these services, we place a cookie Google provides us on our Microsite, and when you visit the Microsite, a copy of the cookie is placed on your browser or device. We use MetaLocator to help you find Ford or Lincoln dealers in your area. MetaLocator collects information from you when you use its geolocating functions on the Microsite. MetaLocator uses various types of technology, including cookies and clear gifs. This “automatically collected” information may include IP addresses or other device addresses or IDs, web browsers and/or device types, the web pages or sites visited just before or just after using the service, the pages or other content you interact with on the service, and the dates and times of any visit, access, or use of the service.
